This Privacy Policy explains how Dunk Mama Media LLC, operating as Athletes Launch ("Athletes Launch," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you connect your TikTok account to the Athletes Launch platform (the "Service"). Athletes Launch is a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal and content-management platform for college and amateur athletes. By connecting your TikTok account, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
When you choose to connect your TikTok account using TikTok Login Kit, you authorize us to access specific information through TikTok's official APIs. We only request the data needed to provide the features you use. We do not collect your TikTok password — authentication happens entirely on TikTok's servers via OAuth 2.0.

We also collect basic technical information common to web applications — such as browser type, approximate region, and error logs — solely to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To display your TikTok profile, audience metrics, and content inside Athletes Launch.
- To upload or publish videos to your TikTok account only when you explicitly initiate the action and confirm the settings.
- To maintain your authenticated session and refresh it when it expires.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account or NIL activity.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your TikTok data for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. How Your Information Is Stored and Secured
Data is stored using Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Access tokens are held securely and are never exposed to the public. Token exchange with TikTok is performed server-side so that our confidential client secret is never sent to your browser. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and apply access controls to limit who can reach stored data.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Google Firebase / Google Cloud, which host and process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
- TikTok: When you upload or publish content, that content and its settings are sent to TikTok through their official Content Posting API.
- With your direction: Profile information you choose to make visible to brands and collectives within the NIL marketplace.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
5. Data Retention
We retain your TikTok-derived data only for as long as your account is connected and your account remains active. When you disconnect your TikTok account or delete your Athletes Launch account, we delete the associated access and refresh tokens and remove cached TikTok profile and video data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Revoking Access and Deleting Your Data
You are always in control of the connection. You can:
- Disconnect TikTok at any time from within Athletes Launch, which revokes and deletes the stored tokens.
- Revoke Athletes Launch's access directly from your TikTok account under Settings → Security & Permissions → Manage app permissions.
- Request full deletion of your data by emailing us (see Section 10). We will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
7. TikTok's Handling of Your Data
Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's own policies. Please review the TikTok Privacy Policy and TikTok Terms of Service to understand how TikTok processes information on its platform.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for college and amateur athletes and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
